A little history: The Bowers Old Fashioned Creamy Mints tin was popular during the 1940s and 1950s. The Bowers Candy Company was founded in Moorestown, NJ, in 1928. In 1968, the company advertised its mints as a fundraising item in a Girl Scout Leaders magazine.
