Rare Universal Pottery Brown and Cream Teapot. Cambridge design. Circa 1940’s. Good condition with very few flaws. Few unnoticeable chips on spout. Unique handle.
Measures approximately 5 1/2” from top edge to bottom 7 1/2” from tip of spout to handle and is approximately 15 1/2” in circumference. Lid measures approximately 1/1/4” from edge of finial to bottom of lid.

Universal Pottery was created in 1934 in Cambridge, Ohio by a group of business men. Acquiring Ahrendts Pottery shortly after they created many kitchen and baking items. They changed names to Oxford Tile Company in 1956 and closed their doors in 1976.
